Look back 2012

This should be suited posting before 2012 ends but this will be the 1st entry for 2013 - a look back on 2012. It took me sometime to compile these photos and good thing i was able to post in on Facebook on time just before 2012 ends. These are just some of the happenings in 2012 and ill try to give a good review of my year.

January was indeed wedding jump start of the year, i was able to attend four weddings for this month alone and has been invited for several more until December. I am just not sure if they are anticipating the end of the world rumor. In case if that thing happened they ended with the love of their lives. But good thing the prediction just stayed prediction and here i'm still here reviewing my past year. I still have the chance to find the love of my life.

Here comes February, the singlehood awareness month. Haha! well this is the best description for me and for all the singles in the world. But hopefully everything will go in places this 2013. I attended my 5th wedding this month, again love... love... love is really in the air. I realized that im am better shooting wedding as a close friend and a guest or its just that i have a lovely bride as a subject.

A proud Kuya for March as my sister whom we are sending to college finally graduated. I made sure to attend her graduation to share the joy. I got my sister a silver watch, i believe this is the common symbol that she will enter another chapter of her life - the corporate jungle. But wait, she still needs to pass her board examination. Woah good luck to her! Also our own Customitee got a good order this month shipped all the way to Singapore. Thank you March!

My birthday month approached very fast. The highlight is not my birthday for April but our Highschool section's 10th graduation anniversary reunion. Did prepared for this event as i am the organizer. Well it turned our successful and my classmates are very happy. I got my own quote to share with them - "Hindi mahalaga kung ano at nasaan tayo ngayon, ang mahalaga ay kung paano natin narating ang kinalalagyan natin." (Its not important whom and where we are now but how we arrive on becoming the one we are now.) Or in other words - "Its not the destination but the journey that matters."

I was also again witness the annual Aliwan Fiesta. Got some few awesome shots from the gathering of many festivals in the country all the way from Luzon to Mindanao. Just the good vibes from drumbeats to colorful costumes to the artistic dance routines.

May for my 6th wedding appearance and my very first trip for the year. I am just on my daily routine on an ordinary day when i got a call if i can join the trip. My schedule has been fixed and the next thing is im riding the plane to Bicolandia! I enjoyed Legaspi and Naga from breathtaking Mayon volcano all the way to Caramoan Islands. Here we are able to shoot our very own travel version video of Call Me Maybe. The hype is on with us during the trip. Haha!

Then comes my very first meeting with Boracay Island. Though a sudden heavy rain ruined my last afternoon to witness the magnificent sunset its okay, i just met new friends here mostly backpackers. Heard some of their travel stories. Envied a local guy lip-locking my newly found hot travel Irish friend. Yes Irish friend. I also met a Jew whom i shared a very long walk all the way from station 3 to Puka Beach. I don't want to calculate the distance anymore, it makes me remember my swollen feet.

I missed north so i grabbed the chance to explore Ilocandia with a friend's family. Ilocos did not fail to amuse me. Here i found the bell tower i saw on a wedding photo. I thought this is a best place to do a proposal. The iconic Bangui Windmills are great better to bring a pinwheel when heading here. Calle Crisologo feels just like walking back in time during the Spanish era but ruined by a souvenir shop sign.

The last wave of trip for the year Hello Boracay and Davao round two for August! It took me several months on research and preparation for this trip since i will be accompanying my sister's family. Also, this is the most memorable on my travel feat to date, we just beat the big possibility of losing a flight. We ran like hell just to catch our very first flight for the trip. Good thing, Airphil Express is great enough to wait for us. Thank you again Airphil Express! Hello Kadayawan Festival and Boracay!

This month also i attended my 7th wedding of a very beautiful friend. Again i got some great shots not only for being a relaxed guest but also because of a very beautiful bride.

September passed by just ordinary. On the other hand October has been very great to us. My sister passed the CPA board examination, again one proud kuya is saying all thank you for this blessing. I also got my very first newborn photography and later became my godchild named Baby Nathan. The first try got great feedback and immediately followed for another godchild Baby Sean.

No notable event for November but December is the other way around. From attending different parties for our company's year-end celebration, Christening of my two cute godchildren Nathan and Sean, attending my 8th wedding as a guest and backup photographer and covering the very cute Jacob's 2nd birthday.

And last but not the least celebrating Christmas, New Year and being thankful for all the blessings last 2012.  It has been a great adventure! Looking forward for a great 2013! Let's get it on!
